Sunday Nights Yoga Nidra
In studio and live on Zoom
Each class begins with a short teaching on Yoga Nidra, building week by week, followed by seated pranayama to help us arrive in the body. We then lie down for the practice itself, deepening over the course of six weeks. We close with space for integration. What arises is yours to sit with. A journal prompt or blessing will be offered for those who feel drawn to receive one.
The practice is non-dogmatic. However, it is primarily rooted in the Satyananda tradition.
Yoga nidra is a deeply individual practice held inside shared space. The teacher holds the space; the student enters into themselves through the safety of it. This is for people looking for a way to rest and regenerate - to release the week behind them and meet the one ahead with something soft and steady underneath.
Eight students maximum in studio, and eight students maximum online. Please arrive five minutes early. The door closes, physically and virtually, at 8:00 PM. No recordings. This is a held container, and the container forms when we begin.
Bring: Yoga mat and comfortable clothing. Optional to bring an eye mask, a blanket, and something to write on if you'd like to stay with what arises at the end.
Dates: June 7 – July 19 (no class June 21)
Time: 8-9PM
